Over the last decade, Antarang Foundation has guided more than 135,000 adolescents into diverse career pathways, helping break the cycle of poverty. Through career awareness and readiness programs in schools, we enable young people to explore options, nurture aspirations, and gain the skills to achieve their goals.

We are looking for a dynamic, external facing leader who will lead our Fundraising vertical.
The Role:
The Lead Fundraising is a critical senior management role that will build and implement the Fundraising strategy for Antarang to ensure that we are able to raise capital and talent to fuel our growth and impact.
Fundraising Strategy
- Develop and implement a robust fundraising strategy aligned with Antarang’s organizational goals and objectives.
- Develop a comprehensive plan to raise the required annual budget and ensure the financial resilience of the organization
Identify and Cultivate Prospects
- Identify, research, and approach potential donors, including CSR, foundations, individuals, and grant-making organizations
- Develop compelling engagement strategies to solicit and close fundraising opportunities
Proposal Development and Grant Writing
- Lead the creation of high-quality grant proposals, presentations, and funding pitches
- Collaborate with program teams to align proposals with organizational impact and priorities
Donor Engagement and Relationship Management
- Build and nurture long-term relationships with donors and partners
- Ensure deep donor relationships through engagements that go well beyond the financial
Monitoring and Reporting

Team Collaboration

Profile Requisite

Strategic Communication Planning

About the role:
The Assistant Manager Fundraising works collaboratively with the vertical head to achieve fundraising goals, maintain donor relationships, and contribute to the financial sustainability of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in developing fundraising strategies and execution plans in alignment with organizational goals, under the guidance of the vertical head and make a time bound roadmap to implement the same
- Work closely with other departments, such as communications, finance, program operations & quality, to ensure fundraising activities align with overall organizational objectives
- Cultivate relationships with existing donors, prepare materials for donor meetings, and assist in donor stewardship activities to maintain positive relationships
- Write and prepare compelling proposals, grant applications, and fundraising materials to secure funding

About the Role:
Leaders at Antarang do more than manage operations; they play a key role in shaping the vision, culture, and values of their respective areas. They also expand their focus beyond their specific verticals to consider how their work aligns with the broader goa of the organization. The Lead- Partnerships & Sustainability is responsible for shaping and delivering the vision of young adults productively engaged in careers of choice. They do so by influencing different stakeholders responsible to lead to this vision especially the Government systems, NGOs and Educational Institutes who work with young people, the industry, the education systems and the youth themselves.
As a Lead, the biggest shift is transitioning from focusing solely on your work and goals to also taking responsibility for the overall achievement of goals within your vertical. This involves overseeing the work of team members who report to you and identifying systems that can support them along the way.

The Manager – Sustainability and State Partnerships is responsible for shaping and delivering the vision of young adults productively engaged in careers of choice. They do so by influencing different stakeholders responsible to lead to this vision especially the Government systems, NGOs and Educational Institutes who work with young people, the industry, the education systems and the youth themselves. Alumni Engagement Strategy & Execution
- Develop a long-term alumni engagement roadmap aligned with organisational goals, ensuring sustainability and scalability of the alumni network.
- Identify and implement strategies to re-engage inactive alumni and strengthen their connection with the alumni ecosystem.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for alumni, addressing their queries and ensuring ongoing engagement.

The Team:
The Program Development vertical is responsible for designing curriculum, content and smooth management of the entire facilitator life cycle to ensure Antarang’s program goals are met and students make informed transitions into careers of choice.
Role Overview:
The Training Manager will oversee the design, execution, and evaluation of training programs across multiple states. This role is central to ensuring high-quality career guidance training and capacity building for state trainers, facilitators, and government stakeholders The Training Manager will lead the central training team, and work closely with the central and state teams to drive impactful training outcomes. It involves building of training products and systems that are scalable and can be embedded into the government system
Key Responsibilities:
- Training Strategy, Design, and Execution
- Develop and implement a structured, scalable training strategy for career guidance programs across states.
- Lead the design and refinement of training curricula, methodologies, and evaluation frameworks to ensure alignment with program goals.
- Oversee the development of training modules, training assessments, and reporting tools.
- Ensure that training content is culturally relevant and adaptable for diverse state contexts.
- Conduct in-person and virtual training sessions for state trainers, government officials, and other key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with curriculum designers, subject matter experts, and state teams to enhance training effectiveness.
- Project Management & Implementation
- Lead the planning and execution of training programs across multiple states, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
- Manage and coordinate training logistics, including scheduling, resource allocation, and trainer deployment.
- Regularly monitor training implementation, assess challenges, and take corrective actions to improve efficiency.
- Work closely with state trainers and assistant managers to ensure alignment and effective execution of training programs.
- Government Liaison & Stakeholder Engagement
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with government departments and education stakeholders at the state and central levels.
- Coordinate approvals, training schedules, and participation of government officials in capacity-building initiatives.
- Represent the organization in government meetings, training conferences, and advocacy events.
- Advocate for the integration of career guidance training into state education frameworks to ensure long-term impact and sustainability.
- Build training products that can be embedded into the government system
- Evaluation & Continuous Improvement
- Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation mechanisms to assess training effectiveness.
- Regularly collect and analyze feedback from trainers, facilitators, and government stakeholders.
- Synthesize key insights to improve training content, delivery methods, and program strategies.
- Document lessons learned, best practices, and key success stories to inform future training enhancements.
- Drive accreditation to validate the quality and credibility of training programs, ensuring a certified cadre of career trainers is deployed.
- Leadership & Development
- Provide strategic leadership and mentorship to the training team
- Support the professional development of trainers by identifying training gaps and implementing upskilling initiatives.
- Foster a collaborative learning environment within the training team.
- Contribute to strategy and decision making at an organization level
Profile Requisites:
- 6+ years of experience in training, learning & development, or education program management, preferably in large-scale government or social sector initiatives.
- Strong project management skills with experience overseeing training across multiple locations.
- Expertise in training design & facilitation, with the ability to create engaging, interactive learning experiences.
- Excellent stakeholder management & communication skills, particularly in engaging with government agencies.
- Ability to travel frequently across states for training implementation, feedback collection, and stakeholder engagement.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities to refine training approaches based on data-driven insights.
- Fluency in English and at least one between Hindi/Marathi
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other digital learning tools.
- Passion for working in the social sector and a commitment to empowering youth through career guidance.

State Trainer

The Role – Major responsibilities:
Develop and Implement Training
- Develop and implement an effective training coordination strategy for each training across multiple stakeholders- internal and government stakeholders
- Work with internal teams to ensure comprehensive needs analyses are conducted, and all training requirements are effectively planned and fulfilled
- Implementation of all Training activities in the state, either in person or virtual through direct execution and training other members.
- Support the hiring of facilitators/ training sta for the projects in close collaboration with the Talent and Culture team
- Develop and Implement Capacity building of internal and on ground teams.
- Work with State Trainers across geographies and attend training programs
Design workshops, develop training modules and deliver trainings where needed
- Design each training to be culturally identifiable to the context; program and for the participants attending the training
- Design training material, methodology, training guides and reporting templates
- Deliver trainings that will focus on strong pedagogy and engagement to achieve student outcomes
- Design evaluation and assessments for trainings
- The State Trainer will be using the Career Guidance curriculum as a basis for adapting the training curriculum to the project’s needs
Reporting
- Regularly write and share summary reports highlighting training, lessons learned, challenges, and recommendations including success highlights, feedback from participants, and recommendations for the next training
- Create a smooth transfer of information between the central and state teams.
Liaising with Government
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key government stakeholders to ensure alignment with program objectives and smooth execution of curriculum and training initiatives.
- Coordinate with government departments to facilitate approvals, scheduling, and participation in training.
- Regularly update government officials on program progress, share training reports, and incorporate their feedback for continuous improvement.
- Advocate for the integration of career guidance and training initiatives into the state education framework, ensuring sustainability and long-term impact.
The State Trainer may be required to undertake other duties that are broadly in line with the above key duties to enhance Program quality and program design for the State. They will also be managing a team of 1-2 members and will be responsible for their growth and development.
Profile Requisite
- 5+ years of relevant experience in training
- Familiarity with local languages
- Must be based in the geography
- Excellent communication skills and strong problem-solving ability
- Passionate about working in and working for the youth from lower economic backgrounds and in communities
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail
- Complete ease in using the Microsoft Office suite

Responsibilities-
In summary – create, implement, and codify a world-class program operations plan; build a strong, culturally identifiable, high-performing team and create and implement a strategic stakeholder engagement plan.
- Success of Model District implementation to showcase impact of the program [Managing logistics, Facilitator sourcing, Timely implementation, Data collection and processing, Program Quality]
- Donor and Budget Management – Manage State budgets, Field Visit Planning, Update Sharing, Co-drafting reports with Fundraising team
- Government Management – Visits to local Government stakeholders, drafting reports, working with systems adoption where the team needs it
- Liasoning and bridge between central and State teams
- Hiring, managing and engagement of teams
- Ensure Programs implemented on ground are contextual and meet needs of the youth
