Intern - Alumni Engagement
Location – Mumbai
About the Organization:
Since 2013, Antarang Foundation has been one of the leading voices in bringing employability and career development into the mainstream education narrative. We believe that education which does not lead to social and economic progress is incomplete – and hence employability and aspirational careers need to be accessible to all young adults across the socioeconomic spectrum. Antarang Foundation builds key employability skills in disadvantaged youth in urban low-income settlements. Through two structured programs Antarang guides students on career choice, trains them in core employability skills and connects them to employment opportunities of their choice.
Roles and responsibilities-
Planning and Execution:
- Lead outreach efforts via call and messages for virtual events and on-site
alumni cell activities in schools. - Develop event-specific content to mobilize youth.
- Maintain and build strategic collaborations with corporates, youth, alumni cell
heads, facilitators, and volunteers for youth engagements. - Assist in planning and conducting events (both on-ground and virtual).
Events:
- Develop content for mobilizing youth beneficiaries.
- Execute virtual events, lead event management, and handle day-of-event
responsibilities. - Collect feedback, enter data, and analyze results to improve future events.
- Making reports for events documenting learnings
General Responsibilities:
- Travel on an event-to-event basis as required.
- Think creatively to design impactful youth engagements.
- Handle multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and deliver on deadlines.
Profile Requisites:
- Effective communication skills.
- Ability to build and maintain partnerships and seek new opportunities.
- Experience with Google Sheets, content writing, and CANVA will be preferred
- Ability to multitask and work independently.
- Enthusiastic about working with a young, like-minded team.
Skills Preferred:
- Exceptional customer service, active listening, and verbal and written communication skills.
- Time management and decision-making skills.
- Knowledge of current scenarios in the development sector.
- Fluency in English, Hindi, and Marathi (added benefit )languages.

Intern - Fundraising
Location – Mumbai
About the Organization:

Roles and Responsibilities-
- Research trends in philanthropy, fundraising, and nonprofit management to identify emerging opportunities and
challenges in the sector - Review industry reports and academic studies on fundraising best practices, donor engagement strategies, and
fundraising trends - Build the fundraising pipeline by identifying new opportunities aligned with Antarang’s work
- Support the team with preparing collaterals, donor communication such as engagement emails, proposals, reports
- Identify events to network with funders – opportunities to speak on panels and thus increase visibility for
Antarang’s work - Monitor social media platforms and identify fundraising trends, and gather insights on donor preferences
- Analyze different reports to build strong fundraising strategies and develop fundraising pitches that will
position Antarang as a leading player in the sector
Profile Requisites
- Graduate or currently enrolled in a relevant degree program
- Strong research skills
- Strong analytical Skills
- Presentation skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication in English
- Proficiency in at least 2 out of 3 languages (English, Hindi, Marathi)
