About the Role
The Assistant Manager – Alumni Engagement will be responsible for developing and implementing Antarang’s alumni engagement strategy, ensuring a strong and supportive network for our students. This role will focus on fostering connections, organizing events, facilitating career development opportunities, and strengthening relationships between Antarang and its alumni community.
Alumni Engagement Strategy & Execution
- Develop a long-term alumni engagement roadmap aligned with organisational goals, ensuring sustainability and scalability of the alumni network.
- Identify and implement strategies to re-engage inactive alumni and strengthen their connection with the alumni ecosystem.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for alumni, addressing their queries and ensuring ongoing engagement.
Event Planning & Career Support
- Plan and execute alumni events such as networking meetups, workshops, guest lectures, and career exploration sessions.
- Enable opportunities for Antarang Alumni in a scalable and systemic manner.
- Work closely with the Programs, Communications, and Partnerships teams to align alumni engagement efforts with Antarang’s larger mission.

Manager – Curriculum

The Manager in the Curriculum team will lead the design and quality of Antarang’s multi-stakeholder curriculum, ensuring it is scalable, contextual, and aligned with student learning outcomes. They will bring together research, on-ground insights, and government engagement to shape content that responds to diverse state needs and enables effective school-to-work transitions.
Responsibilities
Curriculum Quality & Program Design
- Design and review student books, teacher guides, and lesson plans to ensure they meet defined student learning outcomes and frameworks.

The Role:
The Lead – Fundraising is a critical senior management role that will build and implement the fundraising strategy for Antarang to ensure that we are able to raise capital and talent to fuel our growth and impact.

Fundraising Strategy

- Work closely with other departments, such as communications, finance, program operations & quality, to ensure fundraising activities align with overall organizational objectives.

The Team:
The Program Development vertical is responsible for designing curriculum, content and smooth management of the entire facilitator life cycle to ensure Antarang’s program goals are met and students make informed transitions into careers of choice.
The Role – Major Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement Training
- Develop and implement an effective training coordination strategy for each training across multiple stakeholders – internal and government stakeholders
- Work with internal teams to ensure comprehensive needs analyses are conducted, and all training requirements are effectively planned and fulfilled
- Implementation of all training activities in the state, either in person or virtual through direct execution and training other members
- Support the hiring of facilitators/training staff for the projects in close collaboration with the Talent and Culture team
- Develop and implement capacity building of internal and on-ground teams
- Work with State Trainers across geographies and attend training programs
Design Workshops, Develop Training Modules and Deliver Trainings
- Design each training to be culturally identifiable to the context, program, and for the participants attending the training

- Design evaluation and assessments for trainings
- The State Trainer will be using the Career Guidance curriculum as a basis for adapting the training curriculum to the project’s needs
Reporting
- Regularly write and share summary reports highlighting training, lessons learned, challenges, and recommendations including success highlights, feedback from participants, and recommendations for the next training
- Create a smooth transfer of information between the central and state teams
Liaising with Government
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key government stakeholders to ensure alignment with program objectives and smooth execution of curriculum and training initiatives
- Coordinate with government departments to facilitate approvals, scheduling, and participation in training
- Regularly update government officials on program progress, share training reports, and incorporate their feedback for continuous improvement
- Advocate for the integration of career guidance and training initiatives into the state education framework, ensuring sustainability and long-term impact

The Associate Training and Quality support the central and state team for the quality management for a smooth management of the entire facilitator life cycle to ensure Antarang’s program goals are met. The role includes supporting and engaging facilitators by becoming a mentor and guide to the facilitators so that they excel in their role.
Roles and their Responsibilities
- Contribute to the design of training and program quality strategy (E.g. Training Strategy & Execution, Annual Training Calendar, Training Framework)
- Support curriculum and training design with research inputs (Design of Training Materials & Tools, explore frameworks)
- Analyse data and trends across geographies (Identify patterns in facilitator performance or student outcomes across all geographies)
- Align tools and processes across geographies, partner and projects (processes, feedback forms, rubrics etc)
- Work closely with state teams and NGO partners to ensure alignment and learning exchange (Observe classrooms, understand contextual information)
- Drive on-ground implementation and facilitator support (ensure session delivery, monitor attendance, address implementation challenges)
- Contextualise training and program materials for the state (translate/adapt decks, adjust case studies and examples)
- Design and deliver state-specific interventions (support spaces, peer learning, needs-based training, problem solving, independent and state development plans)
- Conduct regular observations and provide coaching (classroom visits, post-observation feedback, tracking growth)
- Drive Facilitator Engagement through the year, ensuring Facilitator Retention.
Profile Requisites:
- 1-2 years of relevant experience in training or teaching in a classroom setting.
- Excellent communication: Fluency in English
- Good analytical, training & coaching skills and an understanding of culture.
- Complete ease in using the Microsoft Office suite.
- Willingness to travel within the city/across cities as and when required.

About the Organization:
Since 2013, Antarang Foundation has been one of the leading voices in bringing employability and career development into the mainstream education narrative. We believe that education which does not lead to social and economic progress is incomplete – and hence employability and aspirational careers need to be accessible to all young adults across the socioeconomic spectrum.
Our students are film makers, podcast specialists, fitness trainers and study in colleges from Bhandup to Boston. Antarang Foundation builds key employability skills in disadvantaged youth in urban low-income settlements. Through two structured programs Antarang guides students on career choice, trains them in core employability skills and connects them to employment opportunities of their choice.

- 1-2 years of relevant experience in training or teaching in a classroom setting.
- Excellent communication: Fluency in English and Hindi (for Udaipur) and Marathi (for Mumbai/Pune) is mandatory.
- Good analytical, training & coaching skills and an understanding of culture.
- Complete ease in using the Microsoft Office suite.
- Willingness to travel within the city/across cities as and when required.
