The Role:

The Assistant Manager, Administration will play a key role in providing the backbone to Antarang as it looks to scale across geographies. They will lead a team to ensure they are able to anticipate needs and provide support and infrastructure to all Antarang team members to enable their best performance and also contribute to wellbeing. They will ensure that all Antarang events are carried out seamlessly while upholding Antarang brand and values at all times.

Responsibilities
1. Learning, Systems & Team Development :
  • Design administrative work from people-dependent to process-driven structures
  • Design and strengthen systems and processes to improve efficiency, consistency, and effectiveness across functions
  • Own and implement learning and development initiatives for the Admin team, aligned to organisational needs
  • Coach and support the distributed Admin POC team of ~7 members geographically, fostering capability and accountability

5. Materials Management :
  • Work closely with Program team to ensure workbooks and all student materials are printed and distributed within timelines while also optimizing costs

6. Event Management :
  • All Antarang or team events are provided timely support and material as required

Role Overview

As a Communications – Assistant/Intern, you will support the day-to-day execution of Antarang’s internal and external communications. This is an entry-level role designed for someone who is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and excited to work in a fastpaced, mission-driven environment.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in developing fundraising strategies and execution plans in alignment with organizational goals, under the guidance of the vertical head, and make a time-bound roadmap to implement the same.
  2. Work closely with other departments, such as communications, finance, program operations & quality, to ensure fundraising activities align with overall organizational objectives.

The Senior Associate, Founder’s Office is the information processor, integrator, communicator and truth teller at Antarang. They bring data and information crucial to make decisions to the attention of the senior leadership team, they bring together different workflows at Antarang to coherent fruition, they act as a radar to catch and process key developments in the sector that would impact the strategic direction of the organization and act as the chief interpreter between the leadership and the rest of the organization. THE ROLE
  • The Associate will be responsible for:
    • Implementing the Monitoring and Evaluation activities of the Project.

About the Role:

Antarang Foundation is looking for a dynamic and passionate Consultant – Public Policy and Partnerships to drive and support our government and stakeholder engagement efforts as we implement a long-term sustainability plan for Career Readiness. This role is central to building robust partnerships with government departments, NGOs, and educational institutions to integrate career awareness and readiness into the mainstream education ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
1. Government Liaison and Advocacy
  • Act as the primary representative of Antarang to government stakeholders across state and district levels.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with relevant government departments and schedule/co-ordinate meetings.
  • Organize and facilitate district-level and state-level stakeholder meetings to enable the systems adoption of career education as per Antarang’s long-term strategy.
  • Present and explain Antarang’s Career Readiness Sustainability Plan to government officials.
  • Build long-term relationships to advocate for integration of career guidance into education systems.
2. Strategic and Industry Partnerships
  • Forge and manage partnerships with NGOs, educational institutions, and industry leaders to scale impact.
  • Co-lead partnership conversations and proposals with internal teams.
  • Initiate and sustain collaborations with industry leaders to strengthen career exposure and readiness for youth.
  • Tap into leaders from industry to serve as champions and contributors to the program.
  • Create, review, and maintain pitch decks, proposals, MoUs, and reports required for external collaborations.
3. Communication and Documentation
  • Develop clear and impactful communication material for various stakeholders.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of meetings—minutes, action items, and summaries.
  • Respond to queries and concerns of government and partner representatives with clarity and professionalism.
4. Planning and Reporting
  • Create time-bound strategic engagement plans aligned with Antarang’s long-term vision.
  • Track and analyze the impact of engagement efforts and adapt approaches accordingly.
  • Provide regular reports and updates to internal teams on partnership progress.
5. Teamwork and Values

Profile Requisites:
  • Graduate with minimum 4+ years of experience in public policy, government relations, partnerships, or related fields.

  • Conduct outreach to local industries and associations across the model districts (Mumbai, Pune, Thane, Dharashiv) to cater to industry exposure sessions where required.

Coordination with State and Central Teams

  • Support smooth information flow between central and state teams on partnership implementation.
  • Document key action points and learnings from coordination meetings.
Documentation and Reporting
  • Prepare periodic summaries and reports on outreach progress and partner engagement.
  • Capture success stories, feedback, and insights from industry interactions.
  • Contribute to internal documentation for review and planning.
Profile Requisites
  • Graduate; available to begin immediately.
  • Prior experience or familiarity with partnership development, corporate engagement, or stakeholder outreach is preferred.

The Associate – State Program Monitoring plays a critical role in ensuring seamless on-ground program implementation across districts. This person will act as the operational backbone for the program, overseeing logistics, quality, and timely execution in coordination with facilitators, stakeholders, and internal teams.

Roles and Responsibilities:
Program Operations & Monitoring
  • Ensure timely roll-out and smooth execution of the program across assigned districts.
  • Track and monitor key metrics such as batch start, progress, attendance, and material usage.
  • Coordinate facilitator allocation and provide operational support for reallocation or troubleshooting.
  • Maintain high standards of data accuracy and ensure timely updates in internal systems.

The Team:

The Program Development vertical is responsible for designing curriculum, content and smooth management of the entire facilitator life cycle to ensure Antarang’s program goals are met and students make informed transitions into careers of choice.

The Role – Major Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement Training
  • Develop and implement an effective training coordination strategy for each training across multiple stakeholders – internal and government stakeholders
  • Work with internal teams to ensure comprehensive needs analyses are conducted, and all training requirements are effectively planned and fulfilled
  • Implementation of all training activities in the state, either in person or virtual through direct execution and training other members
  • Support the hiring of facilitators/training staff for the projects in close collaboration with the Talent and Culture team
  • Develop and implement capacity building of internal and on-ground teams
  • Work with State Trainers across geographies and attend training programs
Design Workshops, Develop Training Modules and Deliver Trainings
  • Design each training to be culturally identifiable to the context, program, and for the participants attending the training
  • Design training material, methodology, training guides and reporting templates
  • Deliver trainings that will focus on strong pedagogy and engagement to achieve student outcomes
  • Design evaluation and assessments for trainings
  • The State Trainer will be using the Career Guidance curriculum as a basis for adapting the training curriculum to the project’s needs
Reporting
  • Regularly write and share summary reports highlighting training, lessons learned, challenges, and recommendations including success highlights, feedback from participants, and recommendations for the next training
  • Create a smooth transfer of information between the central and state teams
Liaising with Government
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key government stakeholders to ensure alignment with program objectives and smooth execution of curriculum and training initiatives
  • Coordinate with government departments to facilitate approvals, scheduling, and participation in training
  • Regularly update government officials on program progress, share training reports, and incorporate their feedback for continuous improvement
  • Advocate for the integration of career guidance and training initiatives into the state education framework, ensuring sustainability and long-term impact

The State Trainer may be required to undertake other duties that are broadly in line with the above key duties to enhance program quality and program design for the state. They will also be managing a team of 1–2 members and will be responsible for their growth and development.

Profile Requisite
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in training
  • Familiarity with local languages
  • Must be based in the geography
  • Excellent communication skills and strong problem-solving ability
  • Passionate about working in and working for the youth from lower economic backgrounds and in communities

Central Roles and their Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the design of training and program quality strategy (e.g. Training Strategy & Execution, Annual Training Calendar, Training Framework)
  • Support curriculum and training design with research inputs (Design of Training Materials & Tools, explore frameworks)
  • Analyse data and trends across geographies (identify patterns in facilitator performance or student outcomes across all geographies)
  • Align tools and processes across geographies, partners and projects (processes, feedback forms, rubrics etc)

  • Design and deliver state-specific interventions (support spaces, peer learning, needs-based training, problem solving, independent and state development plans)

  • Collaborate with the central team to share insights and adapt strategies to local needs (share implementation reports, present trends)
  • Drive Facilitator Engagement through the year, ensuring Facilitator Retention.
Profile Requisites:
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in training or teaching in a classroom setting.
  • Excellent communication: Fluency in English and Hindi (for Udaipur) and Marathi (for Mumbai/Pune) is mandatory.
