Antarang Foundation empowers youth aged 14–25 from marginalised socio-economic backgrounds across India by providing career awareness, guidance, and access to opportunities. We enable them to make informed, aspirational career decisions and achieve their goals.

How does Antarang guide young students to make informed career choices?
Antarang Foundation offers a 4-year Career Awareness and Guidance Program for students in grades 9 to 12. This program helps students build career awareness, make informed career decisions, and achieve their career aspirations with personalised support at every stage.

Can I or someone I know join the Career Guidance program?
Our Career Guidance program is implemented through schools in partnership with government organisations, and individuals cannot sign up directly. However, you can still access career support through our 24/7 WhatsApp Chatbot for personalised guidance.
I am not part of the Career Guidance program. Can I still access the Career Chatbot?

What are the hiring processes and prerequisites to work with Antarang?
We welcome passionate individuals to join us in various roles. Here’s how the process works:
For Staff Members
- Apply – Browse job openings on our website and fill out the application form.
- Screening Call – Our Talent & Culture (TnC) team will reach out for a brief discussion.
- Assignment Round – You may be asked to complete a short task related to the role.
- Interviews – Two interview rounds (each is an elimination round).
- Offer & Joining – If selected, you’ll receive an offer letter and onboarding details.
For Facilitators & Program Support Officers
- Get to Know You – Fill out a short form about yourself.
- Virtual Interview – This includes a teaching demonstration and a personal interview.
- Conditional Offer – If selected, you’ll receive a conditional offer letter.
- Training & Onboarding – You’ll go through a training period before officially starting.
For Interns
- Apply – We prioritise applications from our alumni for the first 15 days; after that, we open applications externally.
- Screening Call – A quick chat with our team to understand your interest.
- Assignment (if applicable) – You may be given a short task.
- Interview – A final interview round.
- Offer & Joining – If selected, you’ll receive an offer letter and onboarding details.
For Volunteers
- Express Interest – Volunteers usually come through partner organisations, referrals, or direct outreach. Interested individuals can email us.
- Discussion Call – A brief conversation with our team to understand your interests, availability, and alignment with our work.
- Placement & Onboarding – If it’s a good fit, you’ll be placed in a suitable role and receive an orientation.

What does the Career Facilitator role entail?
As a Career Facilitator, you will guide students in Grades 9-12 to explore career options, set goals, and make informed career choices. You’ll lead sessions in schools, provide individual counseling, and collaborate with students’ parents and teachers. Your work will have a direct impact on students’ lives, helping them build brighter futures.
Do I need prior teaching experience to apply?
No, prior teaching experience is not required. We provide comprehensive training to equip you with tools and knowledge needed to succeed. If you’re passionate about working with youth and committed to making a difference, we would love to have you on our team!
Is this a part-time or full-time role?
We offer both options:
- Part-time: 4 hours/day, Monday-Saturday, for at least one year.
- Full-time: 8 hours/day, Monday-Saturday, for at least one year. Both roles require a commitment to conduct in-person sessions in your assigned geography.
Where will I be teaching?
As an Antarang Facilitator, you’ll be placed in schools within underserved communities across Goa, Nagaland, and select cities/districts, including Mumbai, Pune, Thane, Dharashiv, Yamuna Nagar (Haryana), and Udaipur (Rajasthan). All facilitators are required to reside in one of these geographies for the duration of their tenure. Please note that Antarang does not provide relocation support.
Do facilitators need to travel for this role?
Yes, this is an in-person role that requires you to travel within your assigned district/city for sessions. Flexibility in travel is essential for this position.
When and How do I apply for the Career Facilitator role?
The Career Facilitator role is not open for applications year-round. Hiring typically aligns with the start of the academic year.

Are my donations eligible for tax exemptions?
Yes, Antarang (registered as Antarang Foundation) is registered for Tax Exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961. All donations to Antarang Foundation are 50% exempt from tax under Section 80G. This is achievable only to Indian Citizens.
How is my donation utilised?
Your generous contribution directly supports Antarang Foundation’s mission to empower youth from marginalised backgrounds in India to make informed and aspirational career choices. Donations are allocated to various initiatives, including:
- Program Costs: Funding classroom supplies, psychometric assessments, and career counseling sessions for students, as well as training and resources for facilitators.
- Operational and Staff Costs: Covering essential expenses such as technology infrastructure, administrative support, and outreach efforts, along with staff salaries and benefits.
Each contribution, however small, advances our vision of building equitable futures for the most underserved youth across India.

When will I receive my tax exemption certificate?
We will send a Section 80G Income Tax Exemption receipt of your donation to the email address you provide within 30 days from the date of your donation.
